For longtime Glenwood Springs artist, Nancy Martin, color is the catalyst which carries her from the initial concept to a completed work of art. An intuitive painter, she relies on observation, composition, personal vision and original approach combined with color theory to create her paintings.
Nancy’s acceptance in numerous regional and national juried exhibitons, including the San Diego Watercolor Society, San Diego, CA, the National Society of Painters in Casein and Acrylic, New York City, NY, and many others, reflect well on her effort and talent. She is a signature member of the Colorado Watercolor Society and is a Master Signature Member of the Western Colorado Watercolor Society. Nancy’s work is included in private and corporate collections in the United States and Europe, and she has been featured in various publications including American Artist Magazine and the book, “Painting Flowers” by Elizabeth Leonard.
